Out of office emergency number - when the Embassy is closed

If you need to speak to someone urgently about the arrest, serious injury, illness, or death of a British national, or you are a British national who has been the victim of crime, or you are a British national who urgently needs to travel to the UK but you do not have a valid passport, call 00 36 1 266 2888 to link directly to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office Global Response Centre for assistance.

Opening times

The Embassy is open to the public Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.00, holidays excepted.

Our Consular, Visa & Passport section is open daily between 9.30 and 12.30 from Monday to Friday.
